The Forethought Mums Program is specifically designed to acknowledge and support the special circumstances that expectant mothers and working mothers face. It’s all about trying to balance family and work life, and this program helps and supports mothers navigate their way through this challenge.

The Forethought Mums Program involves the appointment of a Mum’s Co-ordinator, who reports directly to the partners of the firm. As the internal advocate for mothers, her role is to ensure that no mother leaves the firm due to an inability to balance their parenting and work commitments.

The judging Panel said “By looking specifically at the challenges that face working mothers, Forethought Research has focused on an issue which affects all kinds of organisations, large and small. With the active support of the senior leadership team, they've developed a set of highly effective strategies. ”
